Industry defined the Bridesburg riverfront. Industries that filled the riverfront employed and defined the community. This same industry destroyed the riverfront ecology and left it abandoned, derelict and inaccessible. The riverfront today is a remnant landscape left behind as industry moved out. 

  

Industrious Park provides a future for the Bridesburg riverfront reflecting its productive history while remediating its destructive past: a working landscape to face the rising tide. It is a new kind of park which incorporates innovative technology and industry while opening access for people to experience and enjoy the riverfront.
